Before the project begins, we will send you a bid based on floor plans.  We will then walk the job site with you to get a thorough understanding of what your needs are. After the bid has been accepted, we will begin to prep the home.

A key aspect of pre-construction is taking time to discuss the project with the builder/GC; asking them questions about products, procedures, and expectations in order to produce the best paint experience possible. Consultation is a big focus of ours as we aim to develop lasting relationships with builders who value transparency, respect, and ingenuity. Once we develop an initial relationship, we can then more accurately price their projects accordingly.

Our project managers and color consultant will work with you and your designers to discover the colors that make the home come to life! We will create samples of each paint color that you can view in different rooms.  After approval of samples, the painting fun begins! 

Once pricing has been approved and we have the contract in hand, we walk the job to do color consultation with the contractor and designer. Samples are made, colors are confirmed, and we begin to prepare the house for paint.

Our typical project process follows five core steps:

(1) Planning and Prep - We consult with your designer and builder team to ensure that all the paint selections will shine in the space. We then prep each area by applying caulk, putty, primer, bondo, and sanding thoroughly.

(2) Paint - Our team ensures that the spec’d paint products are used before we begin the painting process. We then begin applying topcoat to all millwork, trim, doors, walls and ceilings.

(3) Touch Up/Closeout -  After the initial paint stage and internal QA/QC, our crews remobilize and address any remaining items. Our team then completes the final quality check and ensures the home is move-in ready.

Quality is our top priority! Consistent job walks, through communication,  the use of the highest quality paints and products, and highly experienced crews all combined to ensure that each out we paint is of the highest quality. 

Our territory managers work in conjunction with our office team to be proactive and make every aspect of the process seamless. We use an online job management platform to address any issues as they arise and we're always willing to go the extra mile to ensure quality at all times.  

Before handing over the keys to the homeowner, we will do a final inspection and walkthrough.  We believe that having everyone on the same team is the key to success! After walking through the home with our crew chief, territory manager, and the home builder, we will address any final items. Seeing our builders hand over the keys to a happy homeowner makes the process worth it!
